John Petrucci Signature Cry Baby Wah is the result of years of searching for his wah sound by the legendary prog-metal guitarist of Dream Theater. For many years, John has been using the Cry Baby Rack Wah system, where through precise tuning of numerous parameters, he found his sound that reflects his style and expression. Recently, John, along with Dream Theater's engineer Richard Chycki and the Cry Baby design team, decided to reproduce and enhance this sound, now in a standard pedal format. John himself describes its sound as "massive and aggressive, like the roar of an angry monster, but with an excellent range of expression - perfect for individual notes as well as growling heavy chords."

Factory-set to John's own taste, the JP95 model (factory code for the new release) is fully equipped with all the controls for precise tuning of your sound: volume for adding gain, Q control for adjusting filter width, and a 6-band equalizer for shaping the wah tone in the range of 100Hz - 3.2kHz.
