The Mooer 016 PHOENIX pays tribute to modern German metal amplifiers: punchy, aggressive, with a dark low-end, tight bass, and a vast gain range. The clean channel delivers both a crystal-clear tone and a crunchy crunch. The overdrive channel, on the other hand, is capable of producing thick rock sounds and heavy metal riffs, as well as scorching high-gain tones, perfect for solo parts. Mooer Micro Preamps are compact pedal-sized micro preamps. The main advantage of these little guys is their incredibly accurate reproduction of the preamp section tone of popular tube amplifiers. This became possible through a thorough analysis of these amplifiers and the application of a completely new digital technology capturing their sound, dynamics, and tonal characteristics.

Each Micro Preamp model is equipped with two channels, a built-in guitar cabinet simulator, and two control modes for perfect adaptation to the needs of modern musicians.

Currently, the lineup consists of more than 10 preamps, each corresponding to a popular model of a tube amplifier from various manufacturers. You can connect them to the effects loop of your amplifier or even directly to a sound card, active speaker system, or mixer's line input, without the need for a combo or guitar cabinet.
