The PAF® 57 harnesses a 2.5-inch Alnico 2 magnet as its energy source, creating the foundation for exceptional sound. Using computer-controlled winding devices, we "broadly" wind enamel-coated 42 AWG wire, giving size to carefully selected coils and enriching the guitar's voice and dynamics while adding depth without compromise.

Have no fear: these pickups are wax potted, eliminating any microphone feedback noise. All pole pieces and screws are nickel-plated, and a maple spacer ensures perfect alignment between coils. PAF® 57 has the ideal output power for use with high-gain amplifiers.
